Tattoo Aftercare Using Saniderm:
Saniderm locks in your body's natural healing fluids so your tattoo stays hydrated and heals quickly and efficiently with little to no scabbing. It is also waterproof and is safe to shower with.
Keep Saniderm on the tattoo for 3-4 days after it is initially applied.
I Keep an eye out for any irritation or redness along the edges of the saniderm. If this occurs you can remove the saniderm Be careful not to let water from the shower into the bandage. If this occurs you should remove the saniderm
• If your tattoo weeps and forms pools of liquid, create a small puncture in the pocket of liquid or lift a corner and let the liquid out.
Patch the small puncture, using the patch that was providing for
you
Remove the white side first, and adhere the sticky side to the skin, making sure that there are little to no air pockets. Then remove the hard plastic layer.
Remove the Saniderm in a warm shower using a non-scented antibacterial soap or a natural oil such as coconut or olive oil to help dissolve the adhesive on the corners to lift the bandage off of the skin.
• Pull downward on the Saniderm, working to keep the saniderm intact as you remove it.
Once you have removed the bandage, gently wash your tattoo and any remaining plasma or residue off of your tattoo using a non-scented antibacterial soap.
Allow your tattoo to air dry and then apply moisturizer as necessary.
